Privacy Policy of FlowTictac

1. Overview & Core Privacy Commitment
FlowTictac (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) is an offline-first focus timer application designed for people who are easily distracted and ADHD-friendly users.
The App does NOT collect, store, upload, transmit or share any identifiable personal information of users in any form. All your focus records, setting preferences, cat growth data, audio configuration and other local usage data are only stored locally on your iPhone device via SwiftData and UserDefaults. No user data will be sent to any external server, third-party platform or cloud service by default.
The App only reserves four mock backend interfaces (login, in-app product list, purchase verification, coin deduction) for virtual coin and in-app purchase feature development at the current stage. These mock interfaces run local simulation logic without uploading any real user identity data to external servers. Even if you trigger the mock account login function, all simulated account information and coin balance data are only cached on your device and will not be synchronized to outside servers.
2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
All data generated during your use of the App is confined to your iPhone and never leaves your device without your explicit voluntary authorization:
1. Focus-related data: Focus session records, focus duration statistics, streak tracking, distraction counts, custom tags, task to-do lists, white noise mixing formulas;
2. Personalization data: UI appearance settings, sound volume preferences, timer duration presets, notification switch status, accessibility options (Reduce Motion, contrast settings, etc.);
3. Pet collection data: Cat levels, experience values, unlocked skins, themes and background assets;
4. Virtual asset cache: Simulated coin wallet balance and local transaction records of coin consumption/recharge (mock data only, no real server synchronization);
5. Temporary system cache: Widget configuration, Live Activity / Dynamic Island runtime temporary status, Siri shortcut preset parameters.
You may delete all local data at any time by uninstalling the App, and all locally stored content will be completely erased from your device with no residual copies retained elsewhere.
3. Information We Never Collect
Under no circumstances will the App actively request, record or store the following information:
1. Identity information: Real name, avatar, contact information, email address, social account information, unique device identifier for tracking purposes;
2. Sensitive personal data: Location data, photo album, camera, microphone, health data (Apple Health integration is an optional feature that requires separate explicit authorization from you and will not be enabled by default);
3. Behavioral tracking data: Cross-app activity records, browsing logs, device usage fingerprints for advertising or user profiling;
4. Payment information: Credit card, payment channel credentials, transaction details. All in-app purchases are processed exclusively through Apple StoreKit 2, and payment data is handled directly by Apple without being accessed or stored by the App.
4. Network Access Scope & Data Transmission Rules
1. Default offline operation: All core timer, cat raising, data statistics and white noise functions work fully without network connection. The App will not initiate any network requests when you use core focus features;
2. Restricted mock interfaces: The four reserved backend interfaces (login, in-app product list, purchase verification, coin deduction) adopt mock simulation logic in the current version. Even if network access is triggered, no real personal identifiers will be uploaded to external servers;
3. No third-party data sharing: The App does not integrate any third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK or tracking tools. There is no data sharing, selling or leasing of user local data to any external entities;
4. Optional iCloud synchronization: The iCloud private CloudKit sync function is a follow-up optional feature disabled by default. If you manually enable it, data will only sync to your exclusive personal iCloud private library managed by Apple, and the App cannot access or retrieve synchronized data from any other channels.
5. System Permission Authorization
The App only applies for system permissions strictly required for basic operation, and all permissions can be revoked by you in your iPhone system Settings at any time:
1. Notification permission: Only for local reminder alerts when focus/break sessions end; all notifications are generated locally without remote push servers;
2. Media audio permission: For background playback of white noise and soothing background music during focus sessions;
3. Apple Health permission (optional): Only available if you manually turn on the Health sync switch to write focus minutes to your local HealthKit library; the App will not read any other health data without your separate consent;
4. No mandatory permissions: The App does not require location, camera, photo library or contact permissions to run core functions. Refusing non-mandatory permissions will not limit your basic focus timer experience.
6. Minors’ Privacy
This App is rated 4+ and suitable for all age groups. We do not intentionally collect any information from minor users. If you are a minor, you may use the App under the supervision of your guardian. Since no personal data is collected, there is no minor user information storage risk.
7. In-App Purchase & Virtual Coin Privacy Statement
1. All in-app purchases (coin packs, Pro one-time purchase/subscription) are processed via Apple’s official StoreKit 2. Payment information is only processed by Apple and invisible to the App;
2. Virtual coins are local simulated virtual assets in the current mock version. Coin balance and consumption records are only cached on your device, with no real monetary value, non-transferable and non-refundable for cash;
3. Unlocking cat skins, themes and other assets only triggers local balance deduction logic via mock interfaces, and no consumption behavior records are uploaded to external servers.
8. Amendments to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to match feature iteration or Apple App Store compliance requirements. The updated version will be displayed within the App’s settings page. Continued use of the App after updates take effect shall be deemed your acceptance of the revised policy.
